School Project - Small 2 page Catalog

For my course i needed to make a 2 page childrens clothings catalog




I was completely free to do what i want, i also had to search for good quality pictures. I made a boy and a girl section and also used colors to make that clear. The pricing of the items was worked into the picture and stands out the most as i think that it is the most important thing in such a catalog.
Below the pictures there are the descriptions of the items the kids are wearing. When i was done i thought it was a little to "white" for my taste so i looked up a picture of a playground (tying into the kids theme) and put it on the background at low opacity.

Poster Design for a prom

Another (not so recent) poster design , this time for a prom type event.



Took a lot of revisions for this, the silhouttes were real people the first time around but the people on it did not fit the type of party it was intended for. Had a lot more party related stuff around the people(like martini glasses, diamonds etc etc) but it was too busy for their liking so i ditched it and went with champagnebottles.

School Project - Brochure Design

Another school project, this time i had to design a brochure for a fictional computer company.

School Project - Logo Design

This is a simple logo design i did for school.


The object was to make a logo for a International Transport company that only did business in Europe.
I chose the stars to represent the European flag and that is also the reason that i chose a dark blue color for the lettering.
Below the colored version you can see the black and white version, as you can see it also works scaled down.

Personal Project - Skull Hoodie Design

Hoodie design i did for fun and personal experimentation. Was a lot of fun, did not mean to make it in a full blown hoodie but yeah...here it is.



Skull was sketched/drawn by me with old school pencil and paper, scanned it in and traced it in Illustrator. Added details and coloring was about 3 or 4 hours of work. Blue splatter background comes from GoMedia as did the Hoodie template.

Finally after a hectic period some new work, this time a poster to go snowboarding



Little bit of Photoshop, little bit of Illustrator and finished it up in InDesign

Label Design Trojan energy drink

Label design i did for the upcoming Trojan Energy drink



This is all made in Illustrator with a little help of Photoshop. I just neded Photoshop to cut out the picture and decrease the contrast on it, after that its all Illustrator. The botton rectangle is still empty because that is where the slogan has to go.

T-shirt design: Bodyattack

Bodyattack shirt design i did for a friend at my Gym.



Had a lot of fun with this design, first i had something else in mind but that idea would not work on a tshirt. I looked up a promo pic of Les Mills Bodyattack and cut out one of the models. Filled it with a nice yellow and went to work on the design.
My friend was very pleased :)

Valentineparty Poster

Poster i did for a valentineparty.



The heart is made in 3D Studio Max, the rest of the layout is made in Photoshop with a couple of Vector elements in it. They asked me to make a vibrant and colourful poster that instantly showed it was a valentineparty.

Personal Project : Splish Splash

Personal Project of mine inspired by an Ad i saw on the net.



Took a stockphoto of a person, erased the human parts, collected a couple of stockphotos of water splashes and manipulated them in such a way that it looks like they belong to the body. Did some color correcting on the clothes and the water after composing.

Flyer for Quote Rotterdam

This is a flyer i did for Quote Rotterdam, a high-end chique club downtown Rotterdam.



They wanted to have the title look like the text on the Sex and the city movie poster and they wanted the flyer to have a classy. chique, high-end layout. I used some stockphotos from Istockphoto.com and added my own little twist to it with some light effects, for the details i used a nice serif font.

Retouch

Retouch i did for fun and experimenting. Left the before and on the right the after shot. Did some color adjustments, skin smoothing and various other small retouches.

T-Shirt design

T-Shirt design i did for a friend of mine. Used Photoshop mixed with Illustrator and mocked up the shirt with the T-Shirt template of GoMedia.

Superbowl poster design

Superbowlparty poster design i did for my Footballclub. Everything Photoshop except the AFC and NFC logo's. These were done in 3D Studio Max, i recently started experimenting with 3D so this was a perfect opportunity to see how i could combine it.

Business card and logo design

This is my own business card and logo design i did. The logo was made up in Illustrator and the business card was created in Photoshop, after finishing the card i mocked it up using 3D Studio Max.
The black and white version of the logo will be added here soon.
